Reception Department

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the customer reception and inform tourists about the conditions of stay: services offered by the hotel, rates of different activities, events, and other.
  • Assist in the management of reservations: record arrivals and departures.
  • Maintain relevant information available to customers and sometimes play the role of tourist advisor on the potential places in the region to visit.
  • Promote the activities offered by the hotel to tourists for commercial purposes.

Establish invoices at the customer’s departure: the price of the stay, meals, minibar consumption, excursions, and villa services and manage payments. Calculate, analyze, and communicate the reservation rate of the hotel to the managers.
Requirements

  • Applicants must be currently enrolled in a college degree program and eligible to earn internship credit. Therefore, a Training agreement (Stage avec convention de stage) is mandatory. It needs to be signed by the university, the host company, and the student.
  • Must have a good command of the English
  • An interest in or passion for hotels, hospitality, or travel
  • The candidate likes fast activities and likes learning new things all the time
